AMERICANS CAN STILL LEGALLY TRAVEL TO CUBA
U.S. citizens and all travelers from the U.S. may still legally visit Cuba on people to people tours of the island. It has become slightly more complicated since the new Trump version authorized Cuba regulations came out on November 8, 2017. The principal difference between the new law and the old is the prohibition on self-directed tours of Cuba. Americans must travel on organized tours of Cuba, and solo travel has also been prohibited. A U.S. based entity or travel agency must arrange your tour of Cuba, which must include a full schedule of activities. You must also be accompanied on your fight by a representative from the agency that arranges your tour of Cuba.
