LEGAL TRAVEL TO CUBA FOR AMERICANS
LEGAL TO TRAVEL TO CUBA IN 2019
Yes, Americans can travel to Cuba in 2019! Though it may appear confusing, U.S. citizens may still travel to Cuba under one of twelve authorized travel categories. People-to-people tours of Cuba are still allowed as long as they are organized by a U.S. based travel agency or organization, and a guide accompanies you on your flight to Cuba. Self-directed travel is also still authorized, it requires those travelling under that category to be able to prove they traveled to Cuba with a full-time schedule of activities in “support of the Cuban people.”
CUBA TOURS & WORKSHOPS
Regardless of which category Americans travel to Cuba under, they must have a full schedule of activities while in Cuba. For this reason, we have created unique workshops and tours, that entertain and delight our guests. With our English-speaking Cuban guides, you will learn the real story of Cuba. We offer Jazz, Cuban Dance, Baseball, Son, Cuban History, Classic Cars, Havana Architecture, SCUBA Diving, and Resolviendo workshops. All presented by acclaimed authorities from the island and regular Cubans who will open your eyes to real life on our island neighbor. We also offer religious tours of the island, an Afro-Cuban Religion Tour, Jewish Heritage Tour of Cuba, and a Catholic Tour of Cuba.
CUSTOM CUBA TOURS
We specialize in custom tours of Cuba, a personal experience with lots of one on one time with your guide and other Cubans. Your tour will be planned around your schedule, just let us know what dates you would like to travel, and we’ll take care of everything. If you have already booked your flights to Cuba, we can organize your people-to-people tour or other tour of the island. Early in 2019 Havana will host its annual Jazz Festival, the Havana cigar festival takes place in February, and in April the city hosts it Arts Biennial.
