LEGAL TRAVEL FROM U.S. TO CUBA IN 2019
U.S. citizens and residents may still legally travel to Cuba in 2019. The change in the law announced by President Trump in June 2017 only placed a prohibition on self-directed travel to the island. The regular twelve travel categories that had been in effect remain the same. So, if you live in the U.S. it is still legal for you to visit Cuba and getting there is fairly easy. There are direct flights from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta, New York, Boston, Newark, Houston, Tampa and Orlando. Depending on which category you travel under there is no complicated visa procedure to enter Cuba, you simply buy your Cuban entry visa before boarding your flight. You will then be asked to select one of the twelve approved travel categories, that’s it!
Our most popular tours, the Afro-Cuban Religion Tour, Jewish Heritage Tour, and Cuban Baseball Tour, are covered by either the people-to-people or religious category, and all you have to do is let us know your travel dates and we’ll take care of the rest.
See you in Havana!
