CUBA TRIP IN 2020 FROM U.S.

YES! AMERICANS CAN TRAVEL TO CUBA IN 2020

Yes, Americans can still travel to Cuba in 2020, they just can’t take a trip to Cuba on a cruise ship or on a people to people tour. Commercial flights are available from the U.S. to Cuba, American Airlines, Jet Blue, Delta, Southwest, and United all have direct flights to Havana, departing from nine U.S. airports, Boston, Newark Liberty, New York JFK, Atlanta, Houston, Tampa, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami. You can purchase a ticket on any of their flights and we can prepare an itinerary for a legal trip to Cuba from the U.S.

LEGAL TRAVEL TO CUBA FOR AMERICANS

The most often used of the various “legal travel to Cuba" categories are the religious, public performance, and support for the Cuban people categories. Public performances include events like the Havana International Jazz Festival which takes place January 14 through January 20, 2020, religious tours like our Afro-Cuban religion and Jewish Heritage tours. Most trips to Cuba from the US are support for the Cuban people tours, and these are tours that involve interacting with Cubans and supporting civil society on the island. Travel to Cuba in 2020 is still legal for travel that originates in the US as long as that travel conforms to one of the legal travel categories. Contact us at cubatraveltrips@gmail.com and we’ll prepare a custom tour for you.
