THINGS TO DO IN CUBA SPRING 2020
Spring is one of the best seasons to visit Cuba, the weather is nice and there are plenty of things going on around the island. NATIONAL OLGA ALONSO AMATEUR THEATER FESTIVAL; This festival brings together some of Cuba’s best amateur theater troupes in Sancti Spiritus and takes place form March 2nd to March 8th, 2020.
HOLGUIN THEATER FESTIVAL; this annual festival will celebrate its tenth anniversary this year in the eastern Cuban city of Holguin from March 19 to March 22, 2020. It’s a great excuse to see the less visited eastern end of Cuba.
NATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL; This amateur dance festival takes place in Villa Clara, birthplace of Cuba’s new “president-select” Miguel Diaz-Canel, from April 26th to May 2nd, 2020.
LATIN AMERICAN & CARIBBEAN THEATER SEASON; Theater May in Havana brings together some of the best theater in the region, sponsored by Cuba’s Casa de las Americas, from May 15th to May 24th.
