CUBAN BASEBALL NATIONAL SERIES SEMI-FINALS 2019
The playoffs are underway in Cuba. The first playoff games took place on January 4th, 2019, and the wins went to Las Tunas over Sancti Spiritus and Villa Clara over Ciego de Avila. The second game on January 5th also went to Las Tunas, which defeated Sancti Spiritus 8 to 1. Villa Clara also won its second game 9 to 2. Las Tunas plays at Ciego de Avila tomorrow starting at 5pm, and Sancti Spiritus plays at Villa Clara tomorrow at 8pm.
Villa Clara was playing better than anyone during stretches of the regular season and second phase, and if they can sustain that excellent play it will make for a great final series against Las Tunas.
